March 2013 Tour Blog - Day 4

After getting plenty of rest, we start the day with scrambled eggs prepared by Ayrton Cornic. Play a little mini-hockey, short game of hackey and a couple episodes of Wild Boys on Netflix. Take off out of Omaha around one o'clock and start our journey to Kansas City.

Nikola takes the wheel as we continue the 4th day of the celebrity name game.The drive really flies by when everyone is trying to think of famous people with the first name beginning with the letter O.

After a quick stop at Target for some supplies, we arrive at the house we will be crashing at for the night. Jason Shadonix cooks us all some amazing burgers and brats on the grill with baked beans.

We take off to The Riot Room down in Kansas City's power and light district. Getting to the venue we seem to be a bit early which usually happens. I guess we are just suckers for punctuality.

Hanging out for a while and getting to know the people of the club, we settle in for a hard night of rock.

The opening band The Lesser Bear gives us a short but amazing performance. We play second and if I may say so, "tore The Riot Room a new one".

We chill around the merch booth during the last band as we take advantage of our 2 free pitchers of PBR. Then load up and head back to Jason's. Not before getting denied by Freebird Burrito at 11:30pm. Who closes that early on a Monday right.

So we go back to Jason's and start playing a game that will forever be in our hearts and will probably be in the van very soon. Not going to mention what game, but it kicks ass.

A few hours of this awesome card game that I swear is not strip poker. We finally decide to turn it in.

Kansas City has been good to us, but we will see you again. That is a promise. And so... I fall asleep writing this blog. Last thing I must say around halfway through this tour. LYLTB --Cole
