March 2013 Tour Blog - Day 3
Hanging at our friends house in Omaha most of the day. A little relaxing for most of it. Nik played a sweet game of living room hockey with Ayrton Cornic and got his ass handed to him.
Watched the movie Goon, which prepped us for an Omaha Lancers game we attended.
After the game we hop in Veronica Van to drive to Lincoln. Half way there we pull over for gas and call the promoter for the show. She informs us that we might as well turn around because the show had been canceled on account of weather and I-80 was closed. So we head back to Todd and Amy's house in Omaha.
Taking a night off was not planned, but I am not going to complain.
Tomorrow, I'm going to Kansas City. Kansas City here I come. --Cole

March 2013 Tour Blog - Day 2
Cruising into Omaha. We find our way to the venue. Small bar with not a lot of stage space, setting up on the floor, but the basement is green room so we had a place to put all of our gear while we wait to set up. The bar seems a little fancier then we are use to, therefore we have mixed feelings about playing some of our heavier tunes.
After a short debate we decide to leave it up to a crowd response. We play through the majority of our set list before we reach the heaviest song. We tell the room filled with drinkers of our situation, and ask them if they would like us to play our super heavy song "So Far So Good". The crowd screams that they want us to play it and we slam into the song and tear the house down.
We made a lot of new friends and many new fans. Staying with a couple of the coolest people in the world, and hopefully hitting up a hockey game tomorrow before we take off to Lincoln.
All and all, Omaha ROCKS! --Cole
